You may be asking, “What is the Hazlet Business Owners Association (HBOA)? What can it do for my business—and is it worth participating?”

The HBOA (501(c)(3)) is a business membership organization and one of the leading associations of business owners serving the Bayshore area. We advocate for local businesses, connect owners with one another, and help promote our members throughout the community and within our network.

Whether you’re just starting out or well established, your membership is also a resource you can lean on for support, guidance, and connections. Our members include businesses in Hazlet and surrounding towns, including Aberdeen, Keansburg, Keyport, Middletown, Port Monmouth, Atlantic Highlands, and Union Beach.

• Build relationships at networking events like our monthly What’s Brewing breakfast and Business After Hours events
   
• Promote your business and events through our website, social media, and email updates (Constant Contact)
   
• Be listed in our online member directory with a direct link to your website and contact information
   
• Connect with local leadership at our annual breakfast with the Mayor and Township Committee, and meet with Chiefs of Police to discuss business-community safety
   
• Support and participate in community initiatives, including township events, holiday food drives, school fundraisers, and fundraising for emergency services (member dues go directly toward these efforts)
   

Our goal is to grow membership in this established, well-respected association, strengthen local economic development, and provide resources that support business growth and long-term success across the Bayshore community.
